John 1:1
King James Version
1 In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
When GOD speaks, we listen.
He spoke through JESUS, SPIRIT, and the prophets.
They all relied on His EVERY WORD.
Scripture reveals it.
GOD spoke through JESUS:
John 14:10
King James Version
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father,
and the Father in me?
the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself:
but the Father that dwelleth in me,
he doeth the works.
John 12:49-50
King James Version
49 For I have not spoken of myself;
but the Father which sent me,
he gave me a commandment,
what I should say,
and what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment
is life everlasting:
whatsoever I speak therefore,
even as the Father said unto me,
so I speak.

but the Father's which sent me.
John 15:14-15
King James Version
14 Ye are my friends,
if ye do whatsoever I command you.

but I have called you friends;
for all things that I have heard of my Father
I have made known unto you.
John 17:8
King James Version
8 For I have given unto them the words
which thou gavest me;
and they have received them,

GOD speaks through His HOLY SPIRIT:
John 16:13
King James Version
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come,
he will guide you into all truth:
for he shall not speak of himself;
but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:
and he will shew you things to come.

the Lord God of your fathers,

hath sent me unto you:
this is my name for ever,
and this is my memorial

When GOD speaks, He has a matter to address.
Usually, to save.
To correct.
To warn.
Thus, we can be sure GOD's WORD is important.
But how many people care to listen?
JESUS always gave GLORY to the FATHER.
He taught us to do the same.
JESUS is GOD's WORD "made flesh".
JESUS is the personification of GOD's WORD.

the same shall judge him in the last day.
